KENDRA + ARMELL
He’s a natural charmer and can make a friend in any room he enters. In undergrad he decided to enroll in an African American Studies class as an elective. He found his way into the class and made connections with his classmates effortlessly, striking up conversations everywhere with ease, and then she walked in.
Kendra is a soft but powerful spirit. She’s sweet but sure and there’s an ease in her smile that says she’s warm but don’t play with her. Armell sensed ALL of this too and couldn’t help but stare. The charismatic charmer was stumped and she secretly knew it.
The semester would end and graduation would move them into different life paths but social media kept the connection somewhat alive. After a random DM the two reconnected and the rest, as they say, is history.
When we met to design their maternity session, we knew we wanted sets that were soft and romantic, tasteful and classic and I think we achieved just that. We mixed soft gowns and also played with the ying yang of tailored suits that I think captured their vibe just right. I loved this session with Kendra and Armell, it was the perfect way to kick off our new year.
Theirs is a love that runs deep and with purpose and I just know their little one is coming into a home filled with love, laughs, and a deep faith to see them through their own college story and beyond.
