LIFE ISN'T CANCELLED

Dear Diary,

Celebrating the new and exciting, the good and frivolous in the middle of everything this world is dealing with today is still OK. Grinning from ear to ear over a thing that brings me energy and singing out loud in the car with my mask off is still OK. Longing for vacation days and rooftop nights is what my heart desires and while society struggles with unpacking decades of it’s underbelly nasty I can relish in the memories of happier times. We have permission to find a reason to smile.
